Trending, launches & deals
Three discovery feeds surface what is moving: /trending ranks tools by real buyer momentum, /launches tracks new product launches, and /deals collects live discounts.
Trending (/trending)link
The trending page ranks software, AI tools, and services with two lenses. The 7-day and 30-day views rank by momentum — scores derived from real buyer engagement on the platform over that window, normalized against the window leader. The All-time view ranks by overall popularity (review activity and ratings across the catalog).
Momentum data comes from a periodic job. If a window has no momentum data yet, the page says so plainly — “No trending data for this window yet — showing all-time popularity instead” — rather than dressing the popularity list up as weekly movement. You can also filter any view by type: software, AI tools, or services.
Launches (/launches)link
The launches feed tracks new product launches with composite launch scoring — rankings weigh upvotes alongside qualified comments, demo completion, buyer intent, and seller responsiveness, so it is not just an upvote contest. Each launch has its own detail page.
Deals (/deals)link
The deals page filters the live rewards catalog to current discounts — lifetime deals, annual discounts, and limited-time offers. Expired offers are hidden automatically. Claiming works exactly like any reward claim.
Frequently asked questions
What does “trending” actually measure?expand_more
In the 7-day and 30-day views, momentum scores derived from real buyer engagement on Kariant during that window, normalized 0–100 against the window leader. The All-time view measures cumulative popularity from reviews and ratings.
Why does the page sometimes say it is showing all-time popularity instead?expand_more
Because the selected window genuinely has no momentum data yet — the momentum job has not populated that window. Kariant shows the honest fallback and labels it, instead of presenting the popularity list as fresh momentum.
Can vendors pay to appear in trending?expand_more
No. Trending, launch, and all-time rankings are computed from platform activity. Sponsored placement exists only in clearly labeled Boost slots in discovery and AI answers.
