Compare two products head to head
Every pair of published listings can be compared at kariant.app/kompare/<a>-vs-<b> — a side-by-side page built exclusively from each listing’s real catalog data, with Kariant editorial analysis on curated pairs.
How the pages worklink
A compare page takes two published listings — software, AI tools, or services — and renders an “At a glance” table from their actual listing fields: category, pricing model, starting price, free trial, user rating, key features, integrations, and deployment options. A row appears only when both listings provide that field; nothing is padded or fabricated. If two listings share too few structured fields, the page says so instead of inventing a table.
Each page has one canonical address under /kompare: the handles are ordered alphabetically (a before b), and reversed or otherwise non-canonical spellings redirect to the canonical one. Product-vs-product comparison lives entirely under /kompare — the /compare section is reserved for Kariant-vs-competitor pages, and older /compare/<a>-vs-<b> links forward automatically.
When a Kariant user has published a full saved comparison for the same matchup, the address shows that published analysis instead of the basic table — same URL, richer page.
Kariant analysis on curated pairslink
Some pairs additionally carry a “Kariant analysis” block — editorial key differences, metric comparisons, and FAQs from Kariant’s curated comparison library. This block appears only when a published curated document exists for that exact pair; it is clearly attributed and never generated on the fly. Curated pages for the top-ranked pairs in each category are refreshed weekly from the category rankings.
Compare pages vs the Kompare toollink
These public pages are standing head-to-head references anyone can open or share. The Kompare tool (/platform/kompare) is different: it is your interactive workspace for comparing your own shortlist of up to five options, saved to your account. Use the public pages to research a known matchup, and the Kompare tool to run your own evaluation.
The /kompare feed lists comparisons other people have chosen to publish. Comparisons you save appear there only when you explicitly publish them; your own saved history lives at /platform/kompare/history.
Frequently asked questions
Can I compare any two products?expand_more
Any two published Kariant listings — just put their handles in the URL as /kompare/<a>-vs-<b>. If either listing is unpublished or does not exist, the page returns not found.
Where do the numbers in the table come from?expand_more
Directly from each product’s Kariant listing. Rows render only when both listings carry the field — the page never fills gaps with estimates.
Why do some pairs have analysis and FAQs while others only have the table?expand_more
The editorial block renders only when a published curated comparison exists for that pair. Pairs without one still get the full real-data table.
