Install Kariant on your devices
Kariant ships as an installable web app: add it from Chrome, Edge or Safari and it gets its own icon and window, running the full live platform. Native store apps are on the roadmap — until they ship, Kariant does not publish installer downloads, and the guides at kariant.app/install explain exactly what works today. The hub for every format is kariant.app/kariant-everywhere.
Windows, Mac & Linux (desktop)link
On desktop, Kariant installs from any Chromium browser — Chrome, Edge, Brave and similar. Once installed it opens in its own window with its own taskbar icon and Start-menu entry.
- 1Open kariant.app in Chrome or Edge.
- 2Click the install icon in the address bar (or browser menu → Apps → "Install Kariant").
- 3Confirm — Kariant opens in its own window and pins like any app.
Androidlink
- 1Open kariant.app in Chrome (Firefox and Samsung Internet offer the same option).
- 2Tap the ⋮ menu in the top-right corner.
- 3Tap "Add to Home screen" — some devices show "Install app"; either works.
- 4Confirm. Kariant gets its own icon and opens in its own window.
iPhone & iPadlink
On iOS the install flow is Safari-only.
- 1Open kariant.app in Safari.
- 2Tap the Share button (the square-with-arrow icon in the toolbar).
- 3Choose "Add to Home Screen" — Kariant’s name and icon are pre-filled.
- 4Tap Add. Kariant now launches full-screen from its own icon.
In your browser: the Krome extensionlink
The Kariant Krome extension is the desktop browser integration that ships today — Klick chat in the side panel, "k" omnibox search and page insight. It has its own guide covering install, site access and privacy.
What is on the roadmaplink
Native Android, iOS and Windows applications are on the roadmap, as is a WhatsApp channel. None of these are live yet: Kariant does not publish APK, IPA or installer downloads for builds that do not exist, and no WhatsApp number will be published until there is a working service behind it. Not yet — native apps are on the roadmap. Today Kariant installs as a web app from your browser, which runs the same full platform and updates instantly with every release.
Is the installed app different from the website?expand_more
No — it is the same live platform with the same account. Installing gives it its own icon and window and removes the browser chrome; nothing is cut down.
Can I message Kariant on WhatsApp?expand_more
Not yet. A WhatsApp channel is on the roadmap, and no number is published until it is live — if you find a Kariant WhatsApp number somewhere, it is not ours.
How do I uninstall?expand_more
The installed web app uninstalls like any app: long-press the icon on mobile, or remove it from your browser’s app settings on desktop. Your account and data are untouched — they live in your Kariant account, not on the device.
