Account creation and sign-in are handled by the Kariant Identity portal at hq.kariant.app. Clicking Sign in on kariant.app shows a brief “Redirecting to secure sign-in…” screen, you authenticate on the portal, and you are returned to the page you started from. One Kariant account works across every Kariant surface — kariant.app, the partner portal, Kashback, and more — so you sign in once and stay signed in as you move between products.
- 1Go to hq.kariant.app (or click Sign in from any Kariant page).
- 2Choose how to sign up: email + password (at least 12 characters with a mix of cases, numbers, and symbols), a one-tap magic link sent to your inbox, or a supported social provider (e.g. Google).
- 3Verify your email if prompted, then complete the short setup: your name, an optional photo, and your home country (a searchable list — your country sets your currency, pricing and payment options).
- 4Tell us about your website if you have one — it is optional and informational: having a website never changes what your account is, and individuals and organizations can both have one.
- 5Choose your account status — Individual or Organization. This is your declared legal status: pick Organization only if your organization is legally registered in your country (private or public limited, LLP or partnership, NGO / nonprofit, trust, or a government body), then pick its registered legal form. A sole proprietorship counts as a Registered Individual, not an Organization. Individuals also pick their status: Registered Individual (sole proprietor) or Unregistered Individual. These choices are permanent once saved.
- 6Your account status decides your home surface. Organizations get an organization page — pre-filled from your website when you provided one, or a basic page you can build out (its @handle is claimed when you add your website). Individuals get a public Profile — adding a website there unlocks a Business tab with an organization-grade view of your work, without changing your account status.
- 7You are signed in — your session now follows you across Kariant products. Your account status is locked after setup: the one allowed change is an Individual who later legally registers an organization migrating to Organization from the Account page (a permanent, one-way step). For anything else, contact support. Partner features require an organization page.
Secure your accountlink
Kariant uses a credential-free security model with bank-grade bot and abuse protection on client requests. You can harden your own account from the Identity portal.
- check_circleAdd a backup email so you can always recover access.
- check_circleAdd and verify a mobile number as a trusted contact on your account.
- check_circleTurn on two-factor authentication from Settings → Security: enroll an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, and similar) and confirm with its 6-digit code. If your account holds more than one second factor, sign-in asks whether to verify with the authenticator app or a text message.
- check_circleUse “Sign out everywhere” if you lose a device — it ends your session on every Kariant product at once.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to browse Kariant?expand_more
You can browse and discover listings without an account, and the Platform suite pages (Workspace, Kanvas, Boardroom, Kompare, Kloud, CIO and others) now show signed-out visitors a full product overview instead of a login wall. You need to sign in to actually use those workspaces, save bookmarks, request demos or quotes, use Klick AI as a signed-in user, and earn Koins.
Is there a cost to create an account?expand_more
No. Creating a Kariant account is free for business users. The default Klick AI model is also available at no cost to signed-in users.
I signed up with Google — can I add a password later?expand_more
Yes. From hq.kariant.app you can add or change how you sign in — including setting a password — and add recovery details like a backup email and a verified mobile number.
Does one account work across all Kariant products?expand_more
Yes. Your session is shared across Kariant surfaces, so signing in once keeps you signed in as you move between products.
