Turn on site access before captures startlink
Krome no longer runs on third-party sites out of the box. Open Krome ▸ Settings and turn on the site-access grants for the capture surfaces you use — the browser asks you to confirm, and captures begin from the next page load. If a capture surface has produced nothing, check the grant first.

Where the captures come fromlink
Captures originate from the Kariant Krome browser extension. The buyer-side extension is privacy-first — Krome runs on a site only after the person using it grants site access, and journey and kontext capture are opt-in and off by default. The partner capture suite operates within those consent rules, and you see captures only through your review queue.
Kariant’s platform kill switch is authoritative over every capture surface. If a surface is disabled centrally, extensions stop running it — and an extension that can no longer reach the control plane stops running it too, rather than carrying on with a stale setting.
