Keep listings in sync with your website
Website sync at /partner/listing-sync compares each listing with what its website actually says today and raises change proposals when they drift apart. You review every proposal — nothing touches your listing unless you apply it, or you explicitly turn on auto-apply for the safe class.
Scanning a listing (Kariant AI plan)link
Open /partner/listing-sync and press Scan now on any listing that has a website URL. Kariant reads the site and compares its public title and description against your listing. Scans are rate-limited per hour, and only listings you own can be scanned.
A scan can raise four kinds of findings: a description that drifted from what your site now says, a website that redirects to a different domain, a site title that no longer mentions your listing name, and (from the nightly Guardian only) a site that has become unreachable. Description and website-address proposals can be applied to the listing with one click; name and unreachable findings are informational flags you resolve on your side and dismiss.
What counts as driftlink
A description proposal appears when your listing tagline is empty and your site has a usable description, or when your site’s description has changed since the last check. A tagline that simply never matched your site word-for-word is not treated as drift — the scanner looks for change over time, not stylistic differences.
Dismissing a proposal sticks: the same observed value is never re-proposed. If your site later says something new, the proposal reopens with the new value. If drift disappears on its own — you edited the listing or the site — the open proposal closes itself as resolved.
The nightly Listing Guardian (Kariant Agentic AI plan)link
Turn on the nightly re-scan and Kariant checks each of your listing websites every night, raising the same proposals a manual scan would. You get one notification per night when there is something new to review — never one per proposal.
With auto-apply on, the Guardian applies the safe class only: the listing tagline, updated to match your site’s current description, with a notification each time it does. Website moves, name changes, prices, and outages are never applied automatically — they always wait for your review. Turning the Guardian or auto-apply off never requires a plan.
When a site cannot be readlink
Kariant respects robots.txt and does not bypass bot checks, paywalls, or login walls — if your site asks not to be read, the scan says so instead of guessing. A single failed check is reported but not flagged; the Guardian raises an unreachable flag only after two consecutive nightly failures, so one transient outage never alarms you.
Frequently asked questions
Will auto-apply ever change my pricing or listing name?expand_more
No. Auto-apply is limited to the tagline. Pricing, names, and website addresses are never changed automatically — those proposals always wait for your explicit review.
I dismissed a proposal but it came back. Why?expand_more
A dismissal sticks for the value you dismissed. The proposal reopens only when your website starts saying something different from what you dismissed.
Why does my scan say the site could not be fetched?expand_more
The site may be down, behind a bot check or login wall, or its robots.txt may disallow reading. Allow the Kariant-Krawl user agent or point the listing at a public page, then scan again.
