The Skollar Quiz 2026 privacy policy at quiz.skollar.club/privacy is written to be readable, and every right in it is backed by a working process. This page is the short version of how to use those rights.
The consent notice and your choiceslink
When you sign in on quiz.skollar.club you are shown a consent notice that explains, in plain words, what data the quiz collects and why. You can put it off with "Later", but it comes back — and it always appears before a payment: nothing is ever charged until you have accepted it.
Accepting covers running the competition itself. Alongside it are separate, optional choices that are off unless you tick them: whether your name can appear in winner announcements if you win (leave it unticked and any announcement uses your masked display name only), and whether we may send you marketing emails (exam-critical emails — confirmations, reminders, results — always arrive regardless).
Every choice lives at quiz.skollar.club/consent — the "My Consent" page, linked from your account menu and the footer. Switching a choice off is as easy as switching it on, takes effect from that moment, and never affects your entry or a prize. For a participant under 18, the guardian consent recorded at registration is part of the record, and the marketing choice does not exist at all — under-18 accounts are never sent marketing.

Sign in and go to quiz.skollar.club/my-data. From there you can download a complete copy of your data straight away, or ask us to delete it — and cancel that request any time inside the change-of-mind window. The page only ever shows your own account.
Everything below still works if you would rather write to us, and a parent or guardian can always make the request for a participant under 18.
Get a copy of everything we hold about youlink
You can get a complete copy of your data — your account details, registrations, results, certificates, practice history, payments and balance. The fastest way is quiz.skollar.club/my-data, which gives you two downloads immediately: a readable statement, and a complete machine-readable copy you can take anywhere.
You can also ask us: send the request from quiz.skollar.club/contact with the topic "Privacy and your personal data", or email quiz@skollar.club from the address you registered with. We check it is really you before sending anything, because sending your data to the wrong person would itself be a privacy failure.
If the participant is under 18, their parent or guardian can make the request on their behalf.
Ask us to delete your datalink
You can start this yourself at quiz.skollar.club/my-data, or write to us — either way it follows the same process.
Deletion is real and permanent, so it comes with a safety window: your request is recorded, you get a confirmation email, and you have 7 days to change your mind. After that the deletion runs.
A few records survive in a reduced form, and the privacy policy says exactly which: payment records the law makes us keep (with your name and contact details removed), the guardian-consent record for an under-18 participant (with the child's details removed), your score kept without your name so other participants' ranks do not shift, and your certificate record with your name and score removed so a link you already shared shows the certificate was genuine rather than looking faked. If you had uploaded a winner photo ID, it is deleted — no copy of it survives an erasure.
Three things pause a deletion rather than refuse it: a quiz you are sitting right now, a prize that has not been settled yet, or a refund still being processed. We tell you the reason, and the request proceeds once it is resolved.
How winners are named — your name is opt-inlink
Ranks are private: your rank appears on your own result page and nowhere public. The one exception is prize winners — announcing results can include a winner's name, format, rank and prize, and nothing more.
Publishing your name is opt-in, not automatic. It happens only if you ticked the publicity choice in the consent notice — and you can give or withdraw that choice any time at quiz.skollar.club/consent. If it is off, any winner announcement uses your masked display name only, and your prize is paid exactly the same either way.
A parent or guardian can additionally opt a participant under 18 out of being named, unconditionally, at any point — including after something was published, in which case it is taken down. Send that request from quiz.skollar.club/contact or email quiz@skollar.club.

How long does a deletion take?expand_more
There is a 7-day change-of-mind window after you ask, and the deletion runs after that. You get a confirmation email when you ask, and you can cancel any time within the 7 days — from quiz.skollar.club/my-data or by writing to us.
Will deleting my data remove my payment history everywhere?expand_more
The law requires us to keep the record that a fee was paid — the amount, currency and payment reference — for tax and accounting. Your name, email and phone number are removed from it.
Can a parent ask on behalf of a child?expand_more
Yes. For a participant under 18, a parent or guardian can request a copy of the data, corrections, or deletion. Say so in the request and we will verify and proceed.
Is my exam watched through my camera?expand_more
No. The quiz never uses your camera or microphone and never records your screen. Fair-play monitoring is limited to activity inside the quiz page itself, like leaving the exam tab.
Do I have to accept the consent notice?expand_more
To pay for a registration, yes — the notice explains what data running the competition needs, and nothing is charged until you have accepted it. The two tick-box choices inside it (winner publicity, marketing emails) are genuinely optional: you can leave them both unticked and take part exactly the same.
I ticked the publicity box but changed my mind — what happens?expand_more
Switch it off at quiz.skollar.club/consent. From that moment any new winner announcement uses your masked display name instead of your real name. It does not unwind something already published — for that, or for an under-18 participant, write to us and we will take it down.
