Navigation, toolbar & notifications
Two layers of chrome follow you across the seeker experience: the utility bar on top, and the main header underneath — plus a notification system with a bell and a full feed.
The utility barlink
The slim bar above the header carries your context controls: region, state/city, and language selectors (which also drive currency display — Koin figures render as Sikka in India), a Compare chip showing your live comparison count, a Saved chip linking to /saved, theme toggle, and a “More from Kariant” menu linking the wider platform. Messages and notifications live in the main header below.
Your region selection shapes the catalog: browse, discovery, and segment surfaces show the brands published for your selected country, and Global shows the full directory. With a state or city set, brands that list your area carry an “Available in your area” badge and float toward the top. A few offerings that only exist under one country’s rules (for example US SBA-loan tooling) show an availability note instead of their content when your region is elsewhere — switch region to view them. Four sanctioned markets — Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and Syria — are not offered as selectable regions anywhere on the platform; the Restricted Countries notice in the legal pages explains the policy.
It also carries the franchisor cross-links — For Franchisors sign-in and sign-up — so brand owners landing on the seeker surface can reach their own console in one tap.
Notificationslink
The bell shows your latest alerts in real time — new-lead confirmations, stage changes, quotes, appointment updates, discovery-day RSVPs, and message notices. The full feed lives at /notifications (linked from the bell; on mobile the menu sheet carries a notifications row that goes straight there).
The events that matter also email you — see Kontinue — your seeker pipeline for the full email lifecycle.
