Data & provenance
Different surfaces use different data sources — and each surface tells you which.
Marketplace datalink
Listings, reviews, trust signals, and resale units come from franchisors, operators, and sellers on the marketplace, moderated by the platform. Illustrative seed content, where present, is marked as illustrative and carries no fabricated engagement numbers.
Listing money is always shown in the currency the brand published for that market — a US listing shows dollars, an India listing shows rupees — and is never converted into your local currency, because a converted figure would be one the brand never published. A brand offered in several countries can carry a separate edition per country with its own local fees; figures a brand has not published for a market appear as “Not disclosed”, never as zero or an estimate.
Geography pages are marketplace data too: country, city, and area pages compute their listing counts and density from the live catalog, blended with country and city intelligence where it exists. Where no listings target a market yet, the page says so plainly — no padded numbers.
AI-generated insightslink
AI-generated content — comparison insights, investment-memo drafts, chat answers — is always labeled as AI-generated where it appears, metered like other AI runs, and never a replacement for the published figures underneath it. Verify anything you would act on independently.
