Koins economy
Koins is the Kariant platform currency used across partner features — most notably to fund Boost and reward affiliates.
Earning and spending Koinslink
Koins live in your KashFlow wallet. Partners use Koins to fund the Boost auction and to reward affiliates in Katalyst programs. Early partners also receive a matching Sikka/Koin credit equal to their listing fee on approval.
Platform actions do NOT earn Koins (policy since 31 July 2026 — the standing rule that gamification never mints Koins now covers partner action rewards too): completing your profile, publishing listings, receiving and replying to reviews, and monthly activity are recognized with badges and XP only. Action grants credited before that date stay in your wallet and remain Kash-convertible. The 500-Koin referral bounty is separate — a commission, not an action reward — and still pays when your referred partner PUBLISHES their first listing, not when they merely submit it. Earned Koins (referral bounties and legacy grants) convert to Kash on the Kash page (manual-review payouts); purchased Koins stay spend-only.
Beyond earning and spending, the Kapital suite puts your balance to work, each with its own console page: Kredit — peer-to-peer Koin loans between partners (/partner/koins/kredit), KreditLine (a revolving Koin line sized by your deterministic KreditScore), Kultivate (commit idle Koins to closed-loop growth programs with tiered terms), Kontests — compete for Koin prizes (/partner/koins/kontest), your holdings overview at /partner/koins/portfolio, and Koin transfers at /partner/koins/transfer. Featured Placement is the simplest promotion spend, separate from Boost: the price is quoted live at request time by the server (today 500 Koins for a 30-day featured window per listing; a repeat purchase extends the window). If a Kultivate pass checkout cannot start or complete, the page now tells you exactly why (for example a still-loading billing account) — you are never charged for a failed initiation.
The Koins economy is closed-loop. Kredit, KreditLine, Kultivate, and Kontest are denominated and settled in Koins — never cash. Where cash is involved (for example the eligible early partners’ 100% fee-back as Kash from day 366, or cashback), it is governed by the platform’s payout rules.
