How the ₹ rate is setlink
Every ₹ figure on Kariant — Sikka balances, sachet prices, placement rate cards, payout amounts — comes from ONE admin-set USD→INR rate held by the platform. There is no live market FX feed: the rate moves only when Kariant updates it, and the same rate drives what you are shown, what you are charged, and what you are paid.
The dollar side is the fixed one (1 Koin = $1). ₹ is always the derived figure, so a rate update shifts every ₹ number at once. A ₹ amount from an older screenshot can legitimately differ from today’s without your balance having changed.
What converts and what doesn’tlink
EARNED Koins convert to Kash from the Kash page — rewards offered by Kariant or by partners, earn-engine grants including Kashback cashback on qualifying purchases, affiliate referral bounties, and refund-class grants (KapEx spend-back after its vesting window, Fellowship grants). Kariant administration sets the redeemable portion per reward source, so the convertible share of a given reward may vary. PURCHASED Koins are spend-only platform credit and NEVER convert to Kash. Prize and P2P-transfer Koins are also spend-only, as are Kashback referral bonuses and leaderboard awards.
Cash-out is controlled by a platform-wide gate. While it is open, conversion and withdrawal work for your EARNED Koin balance, with manually reviewed payouts; the Kash page shows your convertible (earned) balance separately. If the gate is closed for your account the pages say so plainly instead of showing the forms, and balances keep full spend power across Kariant meanwhile.

Why is a ₹ figure different from what I saw earlier?expand_more
The platform USD→INR rate was updated. Every ₹ amount on Kariant is derived from that one admin-set rate, so they all move together when it changes — your Koin balance itself is untouched.
Why can’t I convert the Koins I bought?expand_more
Purchased Koins are prepaid platform credit — full spend power everywhere, never withdrawable (like buying credits, not depositing cash). What you EARN on Kariant (rewards, cashback on qualifying purchases, affiliate referral bounties, refund-class grants) is real compensation and converts to Kash for bank withdrawal.
